A Boy, a Wish and a Brother-to-Be: 'Little Thomas' Trailer Brings a Nostalgic Goa Family Comedy Backed by Anurag Kashyap
The makers of "Little Thomas" have released the film's official trailer, offering a warm and funny look at a family in Goa. The story centres on a little boy named Thomas and his determined effort to get a younger brother. Built on the idea of a little boy and his little wish, the trailer balances light-hearted humour with family drama.
The trailer depicts the innocent chaos that follows when Thomas decides to take matters into his own hands. Instead of waiting for the adults around him to act, he sets his own plan in motion, and the trailer plays this for laughs and sentiment alike. Gulshan Devaiah and Rasika Dugal play Thomas's parents, while Hridhansh Parekh stars as Little Thomas. The Goa setting adds a calm, easygoing atmosphere to the story.
Kaushal Oza has written and directed the film, and he describes it as inspired by his own childhood. Speaking about the shoot, he said that he and his team had a lot of fun, as the children brought great enthusiasm and excitement to the set, and that their chemistry is clearly visible on screen. He added that Thomas will make audiences smile and laugh, and may even bring a tear to their eye.
Producer Ranjan Singh said the team made "Little Thomas" to remind everyone why they make films.
Why This Film Is Worth Watching
Child-led family dramas are not common in mainstream Hindi cinema, and a film that treats a child's wish with sincerity can stand out in a crowded release calendar. The casting of Gulshan Devaiah and Rasika Dugal, both known for choosing distinctive projects, adds credibility for audiences who follow independent-leaning cinema. With Anurag Kashyap among the producers, the film also carries the interest of viewers who track his production slate.
