Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and ‘Hera Pheri 3’ face fresh uncertainty over ongoing disputes
Hera Pheri 3, Priyadarshan on Paresh Rawal: Rumors of Paresh Rawal's withdrawal from the film 'Hera Pheri 3' are rife. Meanwhile, the film's director, Priyadarshan, has responded to the matter.
The battle over the rights of the film is still not over, and now, reports are coming that one of the lead stars of the film, Paresh Rawal, has walked out of the film and returned his signing amount of ₹11 lakh plus 15% interest. However, Paresh Rawal has not confirmed this officially. Priyadarshan, the film’s director, has spoken openly about the issue.
According to the Economic Times, when they contacted Priyadarshan to clarify Paresh Rawal's future in the film, the filmmaker, who is set to direct the third installment of the iconic franchise, said, "I'm not aware of that."
This isn't the first time reports of Paresh leaving the film have surfaced. In 2025, Akshay Kumar reportedly filed a ₹25 crore lawsuit against him after his sudden departure from the film. However, the matter was later resolved when Paresh Rawal returned to the project.
