The news of his hospitalisation follows closely on the heels of a separate development involving the Income Tax Department. According to earlier reports, the Mumbai IT department conducted searches at 12 locations on Monday, September 28, linked to Bhagnani, his daughter-in-law and actress Rakul Preet Singh, and the production company Panorama Studios. Reports also indicate that premises connected to Pooja Entertainment, Bhagnani's own production banner, were covered in the searches.
