Actor Saif Ali Khan has made his debut on Instagram after long keeping a distance from social media. He has shared two posts so far, including photos taken in his home library.
His arrival drew a playful reaction from his son, actor Ibrahim Ali Khan, who commented, “Is that you, Abba? No, right?” The comment hinted at how unexpected it was to see his father on the platform.
Saif’s Reply
Saif responded in kind. He shared an old photo of Ibrahim as a child and asked whether the little boy in the May 2008 picture was his son. Ibrahim answered, “I think so.” Saif wrote back, “A picture is worth a thousand words! Hello, son!” The exchange quickly drew attention online.
Followers and Who He Follows
According to reports, Saif has gained more than 2.3 lakh followers since joining. He follows only five accounts: Ibrahim, his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, his sister Soha Ali Khan, his daughter Sara Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor.
On the Work Front
Saif was recently seen in “Haiwaan” with Akshay Kumar and in the crime thriller “Kartavya.” His upcoming films include the period drama “Hum Hindustani.”
Why It Matters
When a star long absent from social media joins, even a few posts can draw a large audience, and a light family exchange helps set a personal tone for the account. The short follow list also signals a very private approach, which fits his earlier distance from the platform.
