Jaideep Ahlawat is drawing praise for playing a police officer in “Drishyam 3,” but he is already thinking about what comes after. In a conversation with Variety India, he was asked how a blockbuster might shape an actor’s career. He said he does not know what changes it will bring, but hopes they will be positive.
“Good and Challenging Roles”
Ahlawat said he wants to be offered good and challenging roles. He added that he does not want to be asked to play a policeman again and again. The remark carries weight because his role in “Drishyam 3” is a high-profile one, and that kind of visibility can bring similar offers.
