Milap Zaveri says, "This film is unique. It's in the same genre as films like "Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat" and "Aashiqui 2," but it has its own uniqueness. This time, I want to reach both the general audience and the niche audience, meaning both single screens and multiplexes." Explaining why Aditya was the first choice for the film, Milap said, "Adi was my choice because "Aashiqui 2" and "Malang" have proven his strong connection with both the general audience and the female audience.
