Unfortunately, some tragic news has arisen from the Hollywood industry. An actor and singer Tim Curry, who created himself a unique place in the hearts of his fans with the role of "Dr. Frank N. Furter" in the film "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," has died at the age of 80. The long-term manager of the veteran actor, Marcia Hurwitz, announced the sad news to her fans.

Marcia Hurwitz told exclusively to Variety magazine that Tim Curry died at his Los Angeles home in Toluca Lake. Though the cause of the death of the actor was not disclosed, it is believed that Tim Curry had been struggling with multiple health problems after a massive stroke in 2012.

The sad news about their idol's death has caused a flood of sorrow among his fans, and tributes are pouring in on social media.

Early in his career, Tim Curry played the role of "Dr. Frank N. Furter" in a London stage show in 1973. He reprised the role when the film was made into a film in 1975. Although "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" was not well-received by audiences upon its release, it later became a cult classic in Hollywood.

Following this, Tim appeared in numerous films, including "The Shout," "Times Square," "Annie," "Legend," "Clue," and "The Player." He played villains in most of his films. In addition to films, Curry also worked extensively in theater and television. He received three Tony Award nominations over his long career. Tim Curry's last film was "Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror," released in 2005.
