Why Kollur Holds Special Meaning
The Mookambika temple is one of Karnataka’s most revered shrines, dedicated to Goddess Mookambika, a form of the divine mother. Navratri and Vijayadashami are among the most important times of the year at the temple, drawing devotees from across South India.
For Rishab, the visit also reflects his strong connection to coastal Karnataka. His roots in the region and its traditions have shaped much of his storytelling, especially in the ‘Kantara’ films, which brought the culture and folklore of the area to audiences across India.
