Nevertheless, well before becoming an in-demand artist, Vijay Sethupathi revealed that his family had encountered financial difficulties during his childhood.
During the interview on the 'Truly Ram' podcast, Vijay Sethupathi spoke about his childhood. He confessed that being brought up amid scarce financial circumstances made him grow up faster, and poverty played an important role in his early life.
"I witnessed mostly financial struggles during my childhood. People say that youth is often filled with poverty and hardships; I faced this situation from a very young age. That was simply the reality."
