Haldi Ceremony Held at Momentos Ekaya as Vijay-Rashmika Wedding Festivities Begin

The city of lakes, Udaipur, is witnessing the wedding of actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. The Haldi ceremony, with all traditional rituals, was conducted at Hotel Momentos Ekaya on Wednesday. The Mehendi ceremony will be held today, and on Thursday, the couple will exchange their seven vows with Vedic mantras.
The wedding setup includes yellow flowers, light green curtains, and bright lights. A special priest has been brought from South India to conduct all the rituals. A total of 200 guests will be attending the wedding.
Vijay and Rashmika reached the sangeet ceremony last night, holding hands. A photo gallery of the couple was arranged at the entrance. Family and friends performed dances to songs from South Indian and Hindi films. Vijay and Rashmika also captivated everyone with a special performance.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, director of popular films like "Arjun Reddy," "Kabir Singh," and "Animal," also arrived to attend the wedding ceremony. Several film personalities, including actresses Eesha Rebba and Aashika Ranganath, director Tarun Bhaskar, and stylist Shravya Verma, have already arrived in Udaipur.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also sent a congratulatory message to the couple, citing "Sakha Saptapadi Bhava." He wrote that after walking seven steps together, the bride and groom become true lifelong companions. He praised their film journey and wished them a happy married life.
Vijay and Rashmika arrived at the wedding venue with their families on February 23rd. Pre-wedding ceremonies were held on February 23rd and 24th. A cricket match was also played between the two parties, dubbed the "Virosh Premier League." Following the wedding, a grand reception will be held in Hyderabad on March 3rd and 4th, attended by many prominent figures from the South and Hindi film industries. This royal wedding, held in the City of Lakes, has become a major attraction these days.
