Harry Potter TV series cast announced; Know who will play the role of Dumbledore to Hagrid

Harry Potter has been very famous and their fans have always been excited about the magical world of Harry Potter. Finally, the actors who will play roles in the Harry Potter TV series have been revealed.

According to the outlet, John Lithgow will be seen in the role of Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series. Janet McTeer will be seen in the role of Minerva McGonagall and Papa Essiedu will be seen in the role of Celerus Snape. Nick Probst will play the special role of Rubeus Hagrid. Apart from all these, Luke Thallon will be seen in the role of Quirinus Quirrell.

The filmmakers said, 'We are very happy to have John Lithgow, Janet McTeerce, Papa Essiedu, Nick Frost, Luke Thallon, and Paul Whitehouse in the series for the roles of Dumbledore, McGonagall, Snape, Hagrid, Quirrell and Filch.'

According to Variety, this is the first list of the cast of the series that has been released. Recently, HBO started an open casting call for the lead actors of the film Harry Potter, Hermione and Ron, in which more than 30,000 submissions came. The shooting of this show is expected to start this summer. The film will be directed by Mark Mylod. The series will be written by Francesca Gardiner.
