This is a turn down he accepted after Mawra Hussain hurled abuse against India. On hearing Harshvardhan's above announcement, Mawra retaliated and labeled Harshvardhan's choice a PR statement. Now, Harshvardhan reacted back.
Harshvardhan made it clear that if Mawra Hussain is in 'Sanam Teri Kasam 2', he will not work in the film. He cannot ignore comments against his country. Mawra Hussain has called it a PR stunt. After this, today on Sunday, Harshvardhan has written a post on Instagram story responding to Mawra. He said that the actress is trying to attack personally, while she did not name anyone.
Harshvardhan Rane has written, 'This looks like an attempt at a personal attack. Luckily I have enough tolerance to ignore such attempts, but I have zero tolerance for any attack on the dignity of my country. An Indian farmer uproots weeds from his crop, it is called weeding. The farmer does not need a PR team for this work, it is called common sense'.
Harshvardhan further wrote, 'I offered not to work in the second part of the film. I have every right not to work with those who call my country's action 'cowardly'. There is so much hatred, so many personal comments in their words. I never took her name. I did not attack her dignity as a woman. I will maintain that standard'.
