Sriram Raghavan's "Ikkis" is the last movie of veteran actor Dharmendra. He has passed away in November of this current year. Recently, Director Sriram Raghavan has disclosed that the picture of Dharmendra and a message have been incorporated into the movie "Ikkis" in tribute to him. Agastya Nanda has also shared the experience of working with Dharmendra.

Dharmendra’s characterization in "Ikkis" makes a stronger impact than his physical presence on the screen. The movie revolves around the aspect of history, duty, and sacrifice. This particular aspect of his acting career makes his emotions exude the warmth and spontaneity of his six-decade-long career. As reported in India Today, Raghavan stated that Dharam had a very laid-back personality and was a very down-to-earth person.

This experience was very special for Agastya Nanda. '21' was an opportunity to work with a legend in his early career. The memory remains deeply etched in his heart. Agastya said, "We didn't have many scenes together, but the time we spent together is memorable." He was nervous upon first meeting, unsure of how to interact with such a big star. But Dharmendra immediately bridged all the gaps. He said, "Dharmendra never made me feel like he was older than me. He talked like a friend." Agastya described him as warm, easygoing, and very energetic on set.

What impressed Agastya the most was Dharmendra's constant presence. Many big actors retire to their vans between shoots, but Dharmendra remained there watching the entire shoot. He was completely involved and curious. Agastya said, "He was always there, always connected."

Dharmendra was unable to see the completed version of the film, and this makes his performance even more emotional. Agastya said, "It's very sad." He couldn't see his work. It's heartbreaking. Dharam ji is my favorite part of the film."
