Iranian rapper Tataloo is facing the death penalty, he has been charged with blasphemy
Rapper Tataloo News: Iranian rapper Tataloo is facing the death penalty these days. He is accused of blasphemy. Apart from this, he appeared in videos in which the authorities were criticized.

Iranian rapper Amir Hussain Maghsoodloo, known as Tataloo, has now been sentenced to death after being convicted of 'insulting Islamic beliefs'. His music had been popular amongst the youth in the Islamic Republic. Tataloo had challenged theocracy in Iran during the time the nation was characterized as being without leaders.
A woman named Mahsa Amini died in Iran in the year 2022. There were protests throughout the nation after that. During it, his songs also featured in videos in which the government came under criticism.
"When you show your face in a music video, you are saying, hey, I am here, and I don't care about your sanctions. That was his bravery," said Ali Hamdani, a former BBC journalist who interviewed the rapper in 2005.
Last month, the Iranian Supreme Court upheld his death sentence. "The verdict has now been confirmed and can be implemented," judiciary spokesman Asghar Jahangir told the media at a press conference last month. Many Iranian activists have condemned Tataloo's execution and expressed concern for his safety after he reportedly tried to kill himself in prison.
Tataloo began his career as an Iranian musician in 2003. It mixes Western styles of rap and rock with Persian lyrics. His first album, released in 2011, mesmerized audiences. Despite being popular, he has never performed publicly in Iran. This is because there are no public music programs in Iran.
The Tehran Criminal Court initially sentenced Tataloo to five years in prison for blasphemy. Iran's Supreme Court overturned the decision and sent his case to another court, which sentenced him to death in January. The rapper already faces a ten-year prison sentence on several different counts, including promoting prostitution and moral corruption.
Tataloo appeared in a music video in 2015 supporting Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard and Tehran's nuclear program. He had a bizarre television discussion with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in 2017. Raisi later died in a helicopter crash.
