Amaal Mallik Announces Music Break Ahead of Rakhi: ‘I Need a Break for My Mind, Body and Soul’

Music composer and singer Amaal Mallik surprised his followers before Rakhi. In a tweet, he revealed that he was planning to take a sabbatical from film music.

I am all good & I will go all the way in, this time, to do what is best for me & only do what is important to my heart & for my health.

The musician has sung a song in the recent release of Emraan Hashmi's "Awarapan 2." Amaal appealed to his followers to leave him alone.

He wrote a lengthy message, "I am absolutely fine, and this time I will do what is best for me and only what is important to my heart and my health. I need a break for my mind, body, soul, and overall physical well-being." I have to get up, get well, and return soon with melodious songs for all you lovely Amalians.

The Bigg Boss 19 contestant further wrote that he will not be composing songs for films until next year. However, the musician clarified that if those films ever release, his old unreleased songs will be released soon. Amal further explained that these are low-budget films, but made with good intentions, and such films do not easily find screens, so he does not know anything about the future of those projects.

Amal further requested fans, "Please do not bother me further. I will update as soon as I know. The journey from music to cinema has taken me a long way, now I am starting to return to music... Now bid me farewell, I will be back."
