The greatest hindrance in this is the casting couch. Recently, Johnny Lever's daughter Jamie narrated that once a great fraud was going to occur with her in the guise of providing work. She was terrified of this incidence.

Jamie told that she had heard the experiences of casting couch from people, but she believed that having her father in the industry was a relief for her. According to Jamie, in the early stages of her career, she did not have a manager and she used to do her work herself. Once she got a call from a person who was pretending to cast her in a big project. Jamie told in a conversation with Zoom that 'They asked if I would like to audition. Such opportunities are a big deal for us, so I said yes.'

Jamie was told that the audition would be on a video call where she would talk to the director. Jamie said, 'They said that we will not give the script.' After this she got a link to the meeting. As soon as Jamie clicked on the link, her video started. However, the person sitting on the other side did not show his video. He said, 'I am traveling so I cannot start my video, but this is an international film for which we are casting and you fit well in this role.'

Jamie was told that she was auditioning for a bold character. In such a situation, she has to act on the video call as if she is impressing a 50-year-old man. During this, Jamie was also asked to remove her clothes. On this, Jamie said that if there is a script, she will work according to it. In such a situation, the other side said 'There is no script. If you want to say something or do something else, feel free to do it.'

Jamie was shocked to hear such things. He said that he is not comfortable doing this. On this, the other side said, 'This is a very big project and we really want to cast you, this is a big opportunity for you.' After this, Jamie told him that he is not comfortable talking to him at this time. After this, he closed the video.

Later Jamie realized that he could have been cheated. Jamie Lever said that if I did something in front of him, he would have made a video of me and could have harassed me. This experience scared him. He had not seen anything like this in Mumbai before.
