Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is all set to make an entry into Hollywood. She will be seen playing the leading lady's part for the first time in horror drama 'Blessed Be the Evil'. Both Tyler Posey of Teen Wolf and Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone's daughter, Scarlett Rose Stallone, are expected to share screen space with her.
According to a report in Variety, the production of this film is set to begin in New York City this summer. The producers revealed that the team deliberately selected US locations to avoid any uncertainty arising from the recently announced Trump Industry Tariff.
The film is directed by Anurag Rudra. Who has also written its script along with Gatha Tiwari Lions Movies President and Founder. 'Blessed Be the Evil' is a psychological horror.
According to the report, the story focuses on a Christian couple who is dealing with the trauma of abortion. In search of a new beginning, they buy an abandoned farm with a dark and horrifying history, but here they encounter an evil force.
Sharing his experiences, the film's director Anurag said, 'Being born and spending my childhood in rural India, I was told stories that settled in my mind and heart. This folklore was so special that I really believed in all the stories. I wanted to showcase them internationally through the art of cinema.'
Actress Kangana Ranaut has not yet given any reaction to this project. The actress was last seen in 'Emergency'. She also made her directorial debut with this film. In the film, she played the role of the late Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
