KL Rahul's wife Athiya showered love on his century, Suniel Shetty called his son-in-law a 'storm'

Actor Suniel Shetty never misses an opportunity to appreciate and cheer his son-in-law cricketer KL Rahul. Now again, on KL Rahul's record hundred in IPL, Suniel Shetty and KL Rahul's wife and actress Athiya Shetty have lauded Rahul and cheered him up.

KL Rahul scored an excellent hundred in Sunday's match against Gujarat Titans. With his hundred in this match, Rahul became the first player in IPL's history to achieve a hundred for three different teams. Rahul's wife Athiya Shetty and father-in-law, Sunil Shetty offered congratulations to Rahul over his record-breaking hundred.

Athiya Shetty re-shared a post by Delhi Capitals praising Rahul on her Instagram story. Also wrote in the caption, "Fifth IPL century from the bat of the Beast." Re-posting it, Athiya simply added a red heart emoji.

At the same time, actor Sunil Shetty posted a photo of Rahul on his Instagram story and wrote, "A storm in Disguise. Along with a blue heart emoji."

KL Rahul made this record by scoring a century against Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. This is KL Rahul's fifth IPL century. Earlier, he has also scored two centuries each while playing for Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants. He has not scored any century for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. This is his fifth IPL century and seventh century overall in T20 cricket.
