Deepika Padukone Hides Baby Bump in Baggy Airport Look
Deepika Padukone spotted at Mumbai airport in oversized clothes, keeping pregnancy bump under wraps, as Ranveer Singh sees her off.
Mumbai, August 16 — Bollywood actor and expectant mother Deepika Padukone was spotted at the airport on Saturday night, opting for an oversized, baggy ensemble that kept her pregnancy bump discreet.
In the visuals, Deepika stepped out of a black luxury vehicle wearing a loose-fitting light blue shirt paired with matching relaxed-fit trousers. She completed the look with sunglasses and kept her hair neatly tied back. Ranveer Singh was seen seated inside the car as she made her way into the airport.
The actress chose not to interact with the media gathered at the airport and quickly proceeded for security check-in. Reportedly in her second trimester, she appeared to have deliberately selected an extremely baggy and oversized outfit to avoid drawing attention to the baby bump.
Deepika and Ranveer Singh announced in April that they are expecting their second child. The couple, fondly known as DeepVeer by fans, shared the news on April 19 through a joint social media post on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Their daughter Dua, born on September 8, 2024, also featured in the pregnancy announcement.
On the professional front, Deepika has continued working during her second pregnancy. She has been shooting for Siddharth Anand’s highly anticipated film King, which stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Deepika and Shah Rukh have previously collaborated on Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Pathaan.
In May, Deepika was seen filming with Shah Rukh Khan in Cape Town, South Africa, for King. Pictures and videos from the shoot surfaced online, showing the two stars appearing to film a sequence that seemed part of a song. The film also features Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan.
