In a conversation with PTI, Mrunal said that marriage is definitely part of her plans, but only when the time and partner are right. She clarified that she is waiting for the right partner to come into her life. Her comments come shortly after she dismissed rumors of a romantic relationship with actor Dhanush. Speaking about her personal life, Mrunal said she wants to get married one day. "When I find the right day and the right partner, I will announce the news myself on social media."
The actress thinks that the attitude of people towards marriage has shifted greatly. She stated that today, people are looking for marriage because they are connected, and not because of expectations and pressures from society. There are different reasons why people used to marry in the past, but today, it is all about the desire to be with the right person.
Reports of Mrunal and Dhanush's affair have been making headlines for some time. Recently, there were even reports that Mrunal and Dhanush might get married on Valentine's Day, February 14th. However, Mrunal dismissed these reports, saying, "The wedding date has arrived, and I haven't even been invited."
Although Mrunal and Dhanush's relationship was never officially confirmed, speculation began after she attended the wrap party of their film "Tere Ishq Mein" last year. Later, a video of her hugging Dhanush at the premiere of "Son of Sardaar 2" further fueled the rumors.

On the work front, Mrunal Thakur is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, "Do Deewane Sahar Mein." She stars opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi in this romantic love story. Directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is scheduled to release in theaters on February 20th. She also has the romantic-action thriller "Dakait" with Adivi Sesh in the pipeline, which is slated for release on April 10th.
