Nawaz's shocking statement for Bollywood actors, said- 'This is part of our profession'

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is known for great acting, also makes big statements publicly. He also publicly makes statements about the issues of the profession. Now, Nawazuddin also publicly commented on the Actors dancing at wedding functions and parties. Along with this, he also replied publicly to people who called them out for this.

In his recent conversation with YouTube channel All About Eve, Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke openly on many issues. During this, when the actor was asked if he has any objection to dancing in parties and wedding ceremonies. Reacting to this, Nawazuddin said, "Yes, why not? What is wrong in this? It is part of our profession. People complain that actors dance at weddings, but we are all Bhaands, i.e. folk artists."

Talking further about this, the actor said, "Earlier, Bhaands were not allowed to mix in society. They were seen as dirty eyes and bad influences. Then they were kept in tents outside the villages. Bhaands were called only to perform and after paying them, they were sent away immediately. Bhaands were not allowed to come to the society because they used to be open-minded people." 

Talking further about the actors of the present time, Nawazuddin said, "Nowadays actors have money, fame and luxury, so they feel part of the society. I am still trying to fit into the society. I get upset when people question me for dancing at weddings, but Bhaandgiri continues." Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the role of a man singing in a wedding procession in Anurag Kashyap's film 'Dev D'. He was in only one song.

Talking about the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was seen in the recently released biographical drama film 'Costao'. Directed by Sezal Shah, the film was released on OTT earlier this month.
