Neil Nitin Mukesh expressed his opinion on the new culture of Bollywood, said- 'Everyone is disappointed, it is visible'

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is making his digital debut with web series 'Hai Junoon'. Recently he made comments about the industry. In an interview with Screen, the actor has shared about the highs and lows of his film life. The Bollywood industry, he has said, has given him numerous opportunities but also made him realize about a dimension of industry which has been less pleasant.

Neil Nitin Mukesh has expressed grief over the lack of brotherhood and true appreciation in today's film circles. The actor said, 'If we are part of the same fraternity, shouldn't we be happy for each other? Shouldn't we pick up the phone and say hey, you did a great job? But these calls do not come unless the person is very close to you. Even if you are close, no one says this to your face.'

Neil Nitin Mukesh talked about the difference between the current environment and the golden era of Raj Kapoor and Mukesh ji. He said, 'At that time friendship had no agenda. Filmmaking was a passion, a collaboration. Raj Kapoor sahab did not need recognition, yet he would take his films to Hrishikesh Mukherjee for scrutiny. Today we hide everything - our look, trailer, cut - until they are ready to be released.'

According to Neil, the root of this change is in collective frustration. 'Not everyone has tasted complete success. An ambition remains, a feeling of a missed opportunity is entering the system. This should not happen.'

Talking about Neil Nitin Mukesh's work, he has appeared in films like 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', 'Saaho' and 'Hisab Barabar' to be released in 2024. With 'Hai Junoon', he is now entering digital.
