Pashmina Roshan: 'I want to create work that I'm proud of'

Pashmina Roshan, the first member of the Roshan family to step into Bollywood since her cousin Hrithik's iconic debut in “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai”, is determined to carve out her own path while honoring her family's illustrious legacy. Daughter of composer Rajesh Roshan and cousin to Hrithik, Pashmina acknowledges the weight of expectations as she prepares for her first film, “Ishq Vishk Rebound”.
Pashmina says, “I come from a family of great artistes. The audience cherishes everything my father, my uncle and my cousin have done. Their art is immortal and I hope one day I will be able to match up to that. I don't see it as pressure as much as a dream to work towards.”
For Pashmina, shaping her career means blending personal aspirations with family legacy. "Hrithik stands for his own values while carrying forward the family legacy. I hope I'm able to do the same. I want to create work that I am proud of. I am nervous. It's nervousness filled with happiness though”, she said.
