After that, he took the initiative to fight back the addiction so that he could control his life. Piyush Mishra suffered from alcohol addiction and infidelity.
In a conversation with HT, Piyush Mishra shared many old memories. He talked about difficult moments in his life. The actor's biggest regret is that he drank too much alcohol. Piyush said, "The biggest regret is alcohol." If I hadn't drowned my life in alcohol and had controlled it early on, I could have achieved something greater. Addiction kills creativity. Drinking was the biggest mistake of my life.
On his infidelity to his wife, Piyush Mishra said, "If you've admitted this to your wife, it's a big deal. Before I told her everything, there was a storm inside me. When I told her everything, I found peace. I had wronged my wife, and it was important for me to tell her the truth to atone for my sins. My wife understood me and said, 'It's okay. You made some mistakes, I made some.' She told me that my heart is clean. Now it's time to live life the right way."
Piyush Mishra has worked in films like 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Maqbool', 'Tamasha', and 'Indian 2'. His songs for films like "Black Friday" and "Gangs of Wasseypur" also earned him recognition as a lyricist. He was last seen in the 2025 film "Krazy."
