Rajat Bedi Clarifies Viral Canada Comment, Accuses Mukesh Khanna of Twisting His Words for Views

Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi recently revealed in an interview that he had given a viral quote regarding shifting to Canada. Rajat Bedi asserted categorically that Mukesh Khanna had manipulated his old interview, thereby tainting his reputation.

Rajat's interview led to speculation that he had been excluded from the film's promotion, which led to his decision to leave the country. He said, "I never said that Rakesh Roshan did anything wrong to me or kept me away from the film. He has always been an inspiration to me. Rakesh Roshan is one of the few directors who would act out scenes himself so that actors could understand how they would appear on screen. He has always guided me."

Rajat Bedi said that he had simply said that he had gone to Canada after "Koi Mil Gaya," but Mukesh Khanna portrayed it as if he was speaking against someone. He said, "My statement was twisted for views and clicks. It is wrong to distort someone's hard work and reputation just to get hits on social media." He further added, "I met Rakesh Roshan just a week before the video came out. He has always been like family to me. It is sad to drag someone's name for such false reasons."
