Rapper Badshah subtly criticizes the underwhelming performance of Adipurush at the box office after being impressed by a contestant's Ramayana act on India's Best Dancer 3

Adipurush has faced ongoing controversy ever since its announcement and the release of its initial trailer. Since hitting the theaters on June 16, the film has struggled and failed to make an impact. Despite featuring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon, Adipurush's box office prospects quickly diminished within the first week. Various Bollywood and television personalities expressed their dissatisfaction with the film's misrepresentation of characters. Recently, rapper Badshah also indirectly commented on the matter.

Previously, renowned actors from the Ramayan series, including Arun Govil (Lord Ram), Sunil Lahri (Lakshman), and Dipika Chikhlia (Mata Sita), along with others, criticized director Om Raut for distorting the facts. Additionally, writer Manoj Muntashir faced backlash for incorporating "tapori" dialogues.

During a recent appearance on the dance reality show India's Best Dancer 3, Badshah commended a contestant's performance. The singer was particularly impressed by a Ramayana-themed act, which received praise from everyone present on the set. While appreciating the act, the rapper subtly aimed a dig at Adipurush without explicitly mentioning it.
