The police are investigating the incident to identify the culprits in the Rohit Shetty shooting case. According to the news agency PTI, police officials said on Tuesday that the suspect who fired at filmmaker Rohit Shetty's residence in Mumbai was caught on camera installed near the Vile Parle Railway Station. He was captured running away after committing the crime.

An official has also mentioned that several teams of the Mumbai Police Crime Branch are working round the clock to arrest the shooter and his accomplices. At least five shots were fired on the first floor of Rohit Shetty's nine-story building in the Juhu area of Mumbai late Saturday night. A bullet also hit the glass of the gym in the building. Police have reported that four people have been arrested from Pune and remanded to Mumbai Police custody until February 5th.

The official stated, "While examining CCTV footage in the Juhu and Vile Parle areas, police spotted the shooter traveling on a two-wheeler. He later abandoned the vehicle near St. Joseph's Church Road in the Vile Parle area. He then took another vehicle, possibly an auto-rickshaw, which dropped him off near the Vile Parle railway station." The shooter was visible on CCTV cameras installed near the station, but was wearing a mask. According to the police, "Because local train services were not running at that time and he feared being caught on high-quality CCTV cameras, the accused did not enter the station and used another vehicle to escape."

More than a dozen police teams are searching for the shooter in the shooting incident at Rohit Shetty's house. Some teams have even traveled outside the state as part of the investigation. While investigating the case, Mumbai Crime Branch officials have also recorded Rohit Shetty's statement. The filmmaker was also asked if he had received any threats from any gang or individual. However, he told the police that he had not received any threats from anyone, whether through messages, voice notes, calls, or emails.
