Salman Khan Confirms Working with Govinda Again in "Battle of Galwan"; Fans Recall ‘Partner’ Days

Once again on the big screen, Bollywood's "partners," none other than Salman Khan and Govinda. Currently, Salman Khan is in the news for his upcoming film, "Battle of Galwan." Now, reports are circulating that Govinda will also be seen alongside Salman Khan in this film. This means the two actors will be seen together in a film after almost 18 years.

In the recent episode of Bigg Boss 19's Weekend Ka Vaar, Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja, joined the show as a guest. Salman and Sunita discussed their reunion with Govinda, which has now gone viral among fans. In fact, Salman Khan revealed that he and Govinda are now working together. While Salman didn't reveal the name of the project, speculation is rife that Govinda will star alongside Salman in the war drama "Battle of Galwan."

Amidst these discussions, several media reports also claimed that Govinda has begun shooting for "Battle of Galwan." "Battle of Galwan" is directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China, which took place at an altitude of over 15,000 feet above sea level without a single shot being fired. In addition to Salman Khan, Chitrangada Singh will also be seen in a lead role in the film.

Salman and Govinda have been friends for decades, their long-standing friendship dating back to the early 2000s. Govinda often credits Salman Khan for reviving his career after a difficult period. Salman and Govinda were last seen together in the film "Partner." They also worked together in "Salaam-e-Ishq."
