Samantha Ruth Prabhu Opens Up About Heartbreak, Finding Love Again With Raj Nidimoru

After having gone through the most challenging phase in her life, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has found love again. She recently tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in December last year. Now, she has revealed her heartbreak and moving on.

In a recent interview with Vogue India, Samantha spoke openly about how she had completely closed herself off after a heartbreak. But Raj's friendship and love taught her to trust love again. Samantha said, "When I separated, I was completely shattered. I didn't think I would ever be able to trust anyone again. But thankfully, I didn't let myself become so vulnerable and I found faith in love and friendship again. Today, I am a better person, only because I have people like Raj in my life.

She further added, "Even those close to her are feeling this change. A few days ago, I met an old friend. Later, she sent me a voice note saying, 'After a long time, it feels like you're not having trouble breathing. I'm not faking anything anymore.'

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's love story began on the sets of the 2010 film 'Ye Maya Chesave,' which also marked Samantha's debut. Friendship blossomed into love, and the two had a lavish wedding in 2017. However, after four years of marriage, they decided to separate in 2021. However, the reason for the separation was never made public. Naga Chaitanya later married Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024.

Samantha and Raj are believed to have first met during the second season of the web series "The Family Man" in 2021, where Samantha played the character of "Raji." However, news of their dating surfaced after working together on "Citadel" in 2024.

The two never spoke openly about this, but fans spotted them together on vacations and at events. On December 1, 2025, Samantha and Raj married in Coimbatore. They surprised fans by sharing a post from their intimate wedding. Their wedding was attended only by family members and close friends.
