In the film, Saumya Tandon plays Ulfat, the wife of Akshay Khanna (Rehman Dacoit). A particular scene of hers is much talked about. In this scene, she lights a cigar for her husband just as Rehman is about to avenge his son's murder. This scene simultaneously showcases Saumya's anger, a mother's pain, and her determination to stand by her husband, which is why audiences are loving it.
Saumya revealed that this scene in "Dhurandhar" was the first scene she shot. It was during this scene that she first met Akshay Khanna in Amritsar. A fan described this scene as her "most powerful moment."
