Actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have bought Mumbai's famous iconic property Rhythm House. This entire deal has been done in several crores. Rhythm House belonged to Nirav Modi but this property was closed after getting stuck in the bank loan case. It is spread over 3600 square feet in Kala Ghoda district of Mumbai.
These days the names of actress Sonam Kapoor and her millionaire businessman Anand Ahuja are in discussion. Both of them are members of Bhane Group and they have bought up the prestigious Rhythm House of Mumbai. They bought this property for approximately Rs 47.8 crore.
By this, Sonam Kapoor also has joined the list of most powerful businesswomen of the industry. Prior to this, property belonged to Nirav Modi but it was seized after getting trapped in billions of dollars of bank loan. Shantanu T Ray, an officer appointed by the bankruptcy court, has given information about this sale.
A music store once belonging to fugitive Nirav Modi. In 2018, Modi's company, Firestar Diamond International, defaulted in repayment of the bank loan, after which it was closed. Rhythm House is located in the Kala Ghoda district of Mumbai, spread over a total area of 3,600 square feet. Before closing down, this store was very famous, with many veteran musicians and Bollywood actors frequenting it.
This is known to be famous for musical instruments and vinyl records, though adding to it are CDs and DVDs over the years. However, due to the coming of piracy of music and digital streaming, it was closed in 1990.
Nirav Modi acquired Rhythm House in the year 2017 from the Karamli family, but since then its doors have never opened again. Sonam Kapoor married Anand Ahuja in the year 2018. Then in the year 2022, the couple had their first child Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. There is no news of Sonam's return to Bollywood ever since the birth of Vayu. Fans are eagerly waiting for the actress to return to the big screen.
