The most awaited horror comedy film Stree 2 has hit the theatres. Directed by Amar Kaushik, this film is getting a good response from the people. In the first part, Flora Saini played the role of the red veil witch; now in this part, this role has been grabbed by Gujarati actress Bhumi Rajgor. No changes have been made to the lead cast.
Now, if we talk about its shooting, you must have an idea that the major part of the film was shot in Bhopal and Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh. The first installment of the film was also shot here. The creators had done a complete recce of those haunted locations in the area before starting the shoot. An important part has been shot in Chanderi Fort, 150-year-old Taj Mahal Haveli, Kati Ghati, Raja Rani Mahal, and Jageshwari Temple.
According to Times Travel reports, while shooting in the Taj Mahal Palace, the residents there had advised everyone that during shooting in the mansion, the female crew should not open their hair and should not apply any perfume.
The story of Stree 2 is based on the terror of the Sarkate demon in Chanderi village, who abducts modern girls from the village after Stree leaves so that the old tradition regarding women can return in the state. Apart from Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee are also in the lead roles in this film. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan is its producer. Stree Part 1 started the horror comedy universe of Maddock Films.
