The reason for this, he said that the audience is keeping their distance from cinemas due to the high price of tickets.

Seeing the lack of audience in cinemas, filmmaker Subhash Ghai suggested a solution and said that Bollywood should work with the state governments to fix 30% of the seats in cinemas at affordable prices for economy class. Due to this, more and more viewers will come back to cinemas. He said that a rule has been made in Tamil Nadu on the same lines. This response of the director came at a time when the audience had many ways to watch movies.
