He said that I do not think that till date any director-producer in the film history of India would have done such deep research. It is our responsibility to do research properly. Because when the film Gandhi was made, it was made by the Congress government with the help of NFDC. That film told the whole world about India's freedom struggle. The director further said that this film has been made with the advice of many historians and experts. When we showed this film to the censor board, fifty questions arose. The best historians of India were called in the committee formed for investigation. We answered every question with several pages of evidence. After a lot of investigation, this film was passed by the censor board without a single cut. After this, we showed this film at different places in America, where the entire theaters were full.
