Vijay Sethupathi has made a major revelation about Shah Rukh Khan's movie 'Jawaan'. He played the role of the villain Kali Gaikwad in the 2023 release. The movie was a huge success, and his performance was appreciated in the movie directed by Atlee.
In a conversation with Variety India, Vijay Sethupathi spoke about his experience working on the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Jawaan'. He said, "I admire Atlee's filmmaking style. He knows where to pick up a scene and how to make it interesting." Tamil actor Atlee said the filmmaker was confident in his scenes. He further said, "It's definitely about Shah Rukh Khan. I only worked on this film because of him."
Atlee's directorial venture, "Jawaan," stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. The film was supported by Shah Rukh Khan's production house. Globally, the film grossed over ₹1,100 crore (approximately $1.1 billion) at the box office.
Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for his upcoming film, "King," directed by Siddharth Anand. The film features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, and Suhana Khan. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in December of this year.
Actor Vijay Sethupathi is expected to appear in the upcoming film "Muthu Aliya Kattan," which is scheduled to be released on a streaming platform on March 27, 2026.
