For the last some time, most of the major movies of Bollywood have been failing at the box office. Because of that, there is a problem somewhere in the film world. Everyone is seeking a solution to this problem. Now, producer-director Vikram Bhatt has provided some suggestions towards it and has expressed his views on how this can be done better. According to the director, we should meet the requirements of the common man. We should focus on that.

Recently, in a conversation with ANI, Vikram Bhatt gave some suggestions to improve the condition of the industry and said, "Everyone forgot the general public and went towards special films. At the same time, the habit of the audience to watch films in theaters has disappeared since COVID-19. We stopped making films on a large scale. If you look at the South industry, it is flourishing because it always gives importance to the mass audience. They still want to see superheroes, want to see Pushpa, want to see Kantara. They still consider the villain as a villain, still whistle and clap. We have forgotten to make such films that the audience whistles and claps after watching them."

Vikram Bhatt has further suggested some important things to the filmmakers to pay attention to while making the film. He said, “We should make films that are much needed. I have learnt this recently when my film ‘Tumko Meri Kasam’ did not work. It got very good reviews. But it did not work because it was not a needed film. Even though my film did not work. So, we have to make films that are needed, nothing should be made in the name of the film. Films should be made in such a way that people eagerly wait for the first show of the first day.”

The director further suggested to focus on content instead of starcast, saying, “This whole problem can be solved in a minute if music companies, digital and satellite companies start giving the message that we want good songs, we want good pictures. If you support a good film and not a starcast, then the burden will not be on the producer. We should focus on content, not starcast.”
