During the divorce process, many allegations were made against Chahal, especially regarding cheating. On this, Chahal said, 'People called me a cheater, whereas I never broke anyone's heart. I have two sisters and I have always respected women. Just because my name was linked with a woman, it does not mean that I am guilty.'

Gradually the friendship between the two deepened and then the relationship turned into love. Both got married in December 2020, but with time the distance between them started increasing.
