Celina Jaitly, who was divorcing her Austrian husband Peter Hogg, went to visit the tombstone of her late son Shamsher. During the cleaning process at his tombstone, she cried because she thought about her son. This can be seen in her video, where she was crying very much. However, she said she will never give up.
Celina Jaitly shared a video on Instagram of herself cleaning her son, Shamsher's grave. Along with this, she alleged in a lengthy caption that despite a court order and a joint custody arrangement, she is not being allowed to see her children.
In her caption, she wrote, "I had no choice but to share this heartbreaking video to show the world my pain as a mother. The past few weeks have been the most difficult time of my life. I was in Austria for my divorce hearing.
Despite promises made to the Austrian judge, my children were not brought back home; instead, they were taken to an unknown location. I was only able to meet my son, Shamsher, who passed away some time ago. This is the heartbreaking story of a mother who has done everything for her children since their birth."
Celina further alleged, "I left my country, my parents, my work, everything. I moved from India to Dubai, Singapore, Austria, then back to Dubai and Austria. All this to support my husband's career.
I single-handedly raised my children and supported them strongly in their dreams, their ambitions, and the life we built together." In return for sacrificing everything for my marriage and children, I witnessed my property slowly being taken away and suffered.
I wanted a mutual divorce, but despite court orders, I was denied access to my children. I am prevented from even speaking to them. They are being coaxed and intimidated into speaking against me. I have always prioritized my role as a mother, but in return, I have received only humiliation and suffering.
In November 2025, Celina Jaitley filed for divorce in Mumbai's Andheri court, citing domestic violence and abuse. These revelations came after years of public appearances and social media posts. Celina and Peter married in 2010 and welcomed twin sons in March 2012. In 2017, Celina gave birth to twin sons, one of whom died due to a hypoplastic heart condition.
