Harsh Chhaya, who shifted from television to Bollywood, believes that today's youth do not have to know anything about the old stars, irrespective of how popular they are. According to him, there is nothing wrong if the newer generation does not know the old generation stars since everyone grew up seeing stars of their own times.

During an interview with IANS, actor Harsh Chhaya spoke about his views regarding today's youth failing to recognize senior actors. According to him, he does not mind if anyone doesn't know him because they don't need to know him. Why do they need to?

In today's world, a 20-year-old knows all about the current day actors, while he would be 10 years older than him. If they didn't see his work, well, that's their loss. It isn't his responsibility. If he doesn't know me, then he doesn't know me.

I think it's a pointless debate for me that you don't recognize so many senior people. When I first entered the industry, Dilip Kumar was a big star, so I knew Dilip Kumar and Rajendra Kumar. Otherwise, I didn't know the rest of the people who worked with them, because they were 40 years ahead of me.

Harsh recalled that the biggest stars of his time were actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, and Rishi Kapoor. When I first entered, actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, and Rishi Kapoor were there. So, for me, it's not a matter of debate. Or rather, they were senior actors.

It's true that I'm doing 'Andekhi' and 'Andekhi' has become very popular. Many people have seen 'Andekhi'. There are many who only saw 'Andekhi' and now they have started knowing me.

But if they didn't know me, they didn't. It's not their responsibility to know me. If they haven't seen my work, how will they know me? If they are watching, they're watching the work of people from today's era.
