'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' production designer Rajat Poddar passes away, dies of heart attack
Rajat Poddar Passed Away: Famous art director and production designer Rajat Poddar died of a heart attack in London. His wife was with him at the time of his death.
Renowned Art Director and Production Designer Rajat Poddar died following a heart attack in London this morning on 28th September, morning. He was the production designer of Kartik Aaryan and Anees Bazmee's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. He also happened to be a part of the team of 'Housefull 5' earlier. Rajat was working on various upcoming big-budget entertainers and was believed to be in London when the heart attack happened. However, no further details about his sudden death have been shared right now.
Directors like Anees Bazmee and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri have also confirmed his death. Recently, filmmaker Anees Bazmee informed a report that he was in close coordination with Rajat Poddar for his upcoming horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. As a matter of fact, he showed his surprise over his sudden demise in a news report and said that he spoke to Rajat a day before on Friday evening. He further added that he was in London, and during the phone conversation, they also talked about the recently released teaser of the film starring Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri, which he said Poddar had praised a lot.
Meanwhile, director Vivek Agnihotri also said that he was working with Rajat Poddar for his upcoming film 'The Delhi Files'. On social media platform X, he shared a note confirming the information about Rajat's demise and also expressed grief over the news. Describing his close relationship with Rajat Poddar, Vivek wrote, 'My friend, brother and one of the best and greatest production designers Rajat Poddar is no more with us. A perfectly healthy, always happy, stress-free person, Rajat suffered a cardiac arrest in London last night. I don't know how I will be able to make 'The Delhi Files' without you. Om Shanti Rajat.
