'Aryabhatt Ka Zero' Collects ₹2.80 Crore in Opening Weekend
'Aryabhatt Ka Zero', starring Himansh Kohli and Sonnalli Seygall, earned ₹2.80 crore in its opening weekend, rising steadily from Friday to Sunday.
'Aryabhatt Ka Zero' has pulled in ₹2.80 crore over its first three days, giving the Himansh Kohli and Sonnalli Seygall-led film a steady opening weekend at the box office. Directed by Kamal Chandra, the drama built its numbers day by day rather than front-loading them.
The film opened at ₹55 lakh on Friday. Business picked up on Saturday, climbing to ₹90 lakh, and Sunday turned out to be the best of the lot at ₹1.35 crore. That upward curve across the weekend usually points to positive word of mouth, and the makers say the audience response has carried real momentum.
Away from the collection figures, the story itself seems to be landing with viewers. The film leans on themes of ambition and resilience, using the idea of zero as a starting point rather than an ending one. It follows how setbacks, failures and rough patches can turn into the groundwork for something bigger. That framing gives the film an emotional pull, while the treatment keeps it watchable rather than heavy.
Kohli anchors the film with a grounded, relatable turn, playing his part with sincerity. Seygall brings warmth to her role and pairs well with him on screen. The supporting cast is deep, featuring Shilpa Shinde, Ravi Kishan, Darshana Banik, Neeraj Sood, Alka Amin, Rajesh Sharma, Gopal Dutt, Ishlin Prasad, Naresh Vohra, Peeyush Suhaney, Kunal Kuldeep, Shailja Sharma, Gaurav Wadhwa and Zooby Singh.
On the production side, the film is backed by Birender Bhagat, Ravi S Gupta, Sanjay Nagpal and Sheo Balak Singh. Sunil Sihaag, Triloki Nath Prasad, the late Kuldeep Bhandari, Aakanksha Rahul Sharma and Rita Gadge come on board as co-producers, with Satyadev Kumar as executive producer. 'Aryabhatt Ka Zero' is presented by NewTech Media Entertainment, Radhika G Films and Sunil Sihag Gora Films, in association with A2R Films.
With the weekend momentum behind it, the film now heads into the weekday run, where the early trend will show whether the goodwill holds.
