Sunita Ahuja says that Govinda spends lakhs of rupees on rituals based on the advice of his well-wishers. In fact, in the podcast, Paras explains that there was a time when he was experiencing anxiety. The doctor prescribed him a 5 mg pill. He was very scared. Then the thought of seeing an astrologer came to his mind. Paras said, "But, I didn't have that much money back then." Sunita Ahuja replied, "We have someone like that at home, Govinda. He's like that, too. Get this puja done, give two lakh rupees. Get that puja done. I say, do the puja yourself. Pujas and rituals done by others don't work."
Sunita continues, "God will accept whatever you do yourself. This puja costing two lakh rupees, that puja costing ten lakh rupees... I don't believe in these things. It's better to wake up in the morning and do your own pujas. How will the prayers of others yield any results? I wake up in the morning and perform my own pujas. If I have to donate something, I go out myself to donate. I don't believe in spending lakhs of rupees to get others to perform pujas. Those who are afraid get scared."
