Actress Hansika Motwani has now joined the list of celebrity divorces. Hansika has divorced her husband, Sohail Kathuria. Rumors of a rift in their marriage had been circulating for some time. Now, the truth has been confirmed. The Bandra Court in Mumbai has finalized the divorce between Hansika and Sohail. Their marriage lasted only four years. The couple has no children from this marriage.
Hansika married businessman Sohail Kathuria with great pomp on December 4, 2022. However, their marriage did not last long. Reports of turmoil in their marriage began surfacing three years after their wedding.
This was Sohail's second marriage to Hansika. He was previously married to Hansika's best friend, Rinki Bajaj. Although the primary reason for Sohail and Hansika's divorce remains unknown, their marriage has been experiencing problems for the past two years.
According to reports, the couple has been living separately since July 2024. During this time, their families made numerous attempts to salvage their marriage, but were unsuccessful. Ultimately, they divorced, amicably.
Hansika did not file any claim for alimony during the divorce. During the court hearing, Motwani's lawyer, Adnan Sheikh, stated that the couple lived together for a short time after their marriage.

But gradually, they realized that their nature, thinking, and lifestyles differed significantly. This led to conflicts. They would argue daily over trivial matters, and living under the same roof became difficult. Therefore, they decided to separate.
Hansika Motwani began her career as a child artist. She appeared in the popular children's TV serial "Sha Ka La Ka Boom Boom," which brought her recognition.
She then appeared as a child artist in Hrithik Roshan's "Koi Mil Gaya." She later made her film debut in 2007 with the South Indian film "Desamuduru," starring Allu Arjun in the lead role.
Hansika received the South Indian Best Debut Actress Award for this film. She subsequently appeared in several other South Indian films. Hansika gained recognition in Bollywood with the film "Aapka Suroor," starring Himesh Reshammiya.
