Dev Rishi Krishnan Sharma Reveals the Biggest Challenge of Styling Love in Vietnam
Stylist Dev Rishi Krishnan Sharma joined Love in Vietnam just 15 days before the shoot. Here’s how he built the film’s entire wardrobe against the clock.

Creating the wardrobe for a feature film requires months of planning, but stylist Dev Rishi Krishnan Sharma faced a very different situation while working on Love in Vietnam. He joined the project just 15 days before the shoot schedule began, leaving him with a short window to build the entire visual language of the film’s styling.
Recalling the experience, Dev says, “One of the most memorable challenges was joining Love in Vietnam just 15 days before the shoot schedule began. As the stylist, I had to work against a very tight timeline to understand the characters, curate their wardrobes and develop a cohesive visual language for the film.”
The limited time meant that several aspects of the styling process had to happen simultaneously. From understanding the characters and their personalities to sourcing outfits and completing fittings, every detail needed to be planned carefully.
