Iulia Vantur Honoured at Daf Bama Music Awards for Redefining Cross-Cultural Music Success
Iulia Vantur receives the Cross Border Artist Award at Daf Bama Music Awards in Germany, celebrating her bold journey from Romania to India and her impact on global music through cultural fusion and multilingual performances.
In a powerful moment that celebrated the spirit of artistic reinvention, Romanian artist Iulia Vantur was recently honoured with the 'Cross Border Artist Award' at the esteemed Daf Bama Music Awards 2025 held in Germany. The international music awards, known for spotlighting multicultural talent from across the globe, recognized Vantur for her exceptional ability to transcend national and linguistic borders through music.
Iulia’s journey has been anything but conventional. From being a celebrated television presenter and artist in Romania to making an artistic leap into the heart of India’s vibrant entertainment scene, her path reflects courage, resilience, and a deep passion for storytelling through melody. Her recognition as a cross-border artist not only applauds her musical versatility but also celebrates her rare ability to build cultural bridges through performance and song.
“This award is a reminder that faith, not fear, must guide us. Leaving Romania for India was never a guaranteed success — it was a risk, but one that came from the heart,” Vantur shared emotionally on stage. “Singing in a different language, performing in a different culture — it was a surrender to something bigger than me.”
