Madhuri Dixit's in-laws were not happy when Dr. Nene left everything in London and came to India

Madhuri Dixit wished to pursue acting more seriously, while Dr. Nene chose to leave his well-established medical practice in the US and settle in India. Dr. Nene was a well-known cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon from the US, and his parents were not agreeable to his choice.

Dr. Nene spoke openly on his YouTube channel about returning to India from London. Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Shriram Nene returned to India in 2011. He said that he is of Indian origin and his parents did not like that he was leaving a job which is every Indian's dream. He said, "I can do open heart surgery on 3-5 patients in a day, but I wanted to make healthcare accessible to as many people as possible through technology and media."

Dr. Nene was a tech entrepreneur at the age of 14, but became a doctor at the behest of his parents. He liked the field of medicine very much because seeing patients recover and making a difference in their lives gave him happiness.

Madhuri and Dr. Nene got married in 1999, after which Madhuri moved to Denver, America. She focused on family life there and distanced herself from Bollywood. When Madhuri returned to India in 2011, all her fans were very happy.

Madhuri had revealed about returning to India through X. Madhuri said, "We are going to return to India. It will be good to come back home." This move was a matter of joy for Madhuri's fans, because after this, she again became active in Bollywood.
