Actor Rahul Dev has lost several members of his family over the past few years. Over the past few months, the actor also lost his brother and actor Mukul Dev. Following which the actor completely broke down. Presently, Rahul spoke about how he is coping with the loss of his family members and what keeps him going despite the loss.
While talking to Faridoon Shahryar, Rahul shared the grief of losing brother Mukul and his family members and said that I don't know what happened. I mean, losing a partner at a very young age, then raising children. Then losing a father, then a mother and now a younger brother. I don't know what to make of all this. Sometimes it happens that you have to do something and suddenly you pick up the phone and you get to know that the person is no more in this world. So yes, it has been a bit difficult, if I put it mildly.
Rahul Dev married Reena Dev in the year 1998. The couple also has a son. But in 2009, Reena passed away due to cancer, due to which Rahul had to take a break from work for almost five years. However, the actor admitted that times have changed now and he cannot take that kind of break after Mukul's demise. The actor said, 'It is easy to work hard. But I have gone through it once, so I took a big step. I was gone for four and a half years. Now I cannot take this risk. I do not have enough time to leave the industry. You become wiser. You realise that all this is a part of life. Nothing really ends.'
