Yo Yo Honey Singh appreciated Yash's Ravana look after watching the teaser of "Ramayana". He said that the movie must respect childhood memories of Ramlila and must not hurt anyone's sentiments.
Honey Singh, the singer, shared his views about the movie "Ramayana" in an Instagram live session on Thursday.
Yo Yo Honey Singh appreciated the performance of Yash as Ravana in this movie and also added that he had already watched the teaser of the movie.
He said that he is a big devotee of Lord Rama, but at the same time, he is impressed by Yash's look and screen presence.
Honey Singh said, "Yash Bhai is ours from Bangalore. He plays Ravana. To be honest, friends, I've seen the teaser of 'Ramayana'. I'm a great devotee of Lord Rama. I have nothing to do with Ravana, but Yash Bhai looks amazing. In my opinion, I like him better than Ranbir Kapoor. I hope the film will be very good. It won't hurt anyone's sentiments."
Yo Yo Honey Singh further added, "I hope this film is like the 'Ramayana' we've seen. We've seen the Ramlila in our streets, in our Karampura, which was very sacred to us. There shouldn't be any tampering, because these are childhood emotions." The film "Ramayana" is produced by Namit Malhotra. It will be released in two parts. The first part will be released on Diwali this year. The second part is expected to release around Diwali 2027.
