Diljit Dosanjh’s Indore Concert Comes With A Setlist Condition: Authorities Ask Him To Skip “Patiala Peg” And Three Other Songs
Indore authorities ask Diljit Dosanjh not to perform Patiala Peg and three other songs at his November 15 Aura India Tour concert. Here is why.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Indore stop on his “Aura India Tour 2026” has drawn official attention before a single song is played. District Women and Child Development Officer Rajneesh Sinha said the department received a letter from Chandigarh about songs that allegedly promote drugs, narcotics or weapons. He said that, following directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the department wrote to the organisers to avoid such songs because they could harm children. The communication, issued on November 6, addresses only the performance of the four identified songs. thestar
The Complaint Behind It
Dr. Dharenavar argued that the tracks promote alcohol, drugs and violence, pointing to a 2019 high court order against such content in public performances. He also asked for curbs on bringing children on stage and for the singer to skip wearing his crossed silver bullet belts. The official letter, as reported, deals only with the song list. newsbytesappnewsbytesapp
Security Concerns
Reports say three to four schools in Indore received threatening emails ahead of the concert, warning against attending. The details of the threats and any police response have not been fully spelled out in the reports reviewed. Despite this, the concert is set to proceed, and Dosanjh is expected to arrive in the city to perform.
