Bhilwara (Rajasthan), April 29: Jagdish Bemali, a 21-year-old rising star from the culturally rich soil of Rajasthan, is making a remarkable impact on the regional music landscape. Born as Jagdish Chandra Gadri on November 27, 2003, in the small village of Bemali in Kareda Tehsil, Bhilwara district, the singer has captured the hearts of audiences with his unique voice and spiritual connection to folk music.
Raised in a traditional household—his father, Shravan Lal Gadri, and mother, Rukman Devi, both rooted in local customs—Jagdish grew up immersed in devotional practices and music. From a young age, he gravitated toward bhakti sangeet (devotional music) and found early guidance from spiritual mentors such as Ugrada Mand and Mada Satti Bada Devnarayan.
